PF practices his own unique version of manual soft-tissue bodywork, incorporating various elements of Structural Integration (which is based on the work of Dr. Ida Rolf), Craniosacral Therapy (rooted in the tradition of Osteopathy), and bits and pieces of Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, along with wisdom gained through helping clients reduce pain, reclaim lost range, and achieve ease of movement and balance in three dimensions.
Because PF approaches his bodywork from a whole-body, myofascial perspective, he is able to address chronic issues in the long term, creating lasting change to help the body function at its optimum. Every session is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.
As a Certified MMASI Practitioner®, he can offer a specialized 9-session series to systematically improve function, movement, and efficiency of energy.
Originally trained in 2008 at the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork, his instructors include luminaries such as Certified Rolfers® Marty Morales, founder of MMASI (the Morales Method Academy of Structural Integration) and Art Riggs. His Craniosacral training was with Hugh Milne, creator of Visionary CranioSacral Work (VCSW). Craniosacral work can help with headaches, vertigo, and anxiety, among many other benefits. This deceptively subtle energy work often has profound effects on the lives of those who embrace it.
